YEAH, you say, that’s a lot of debt, but our family will work hard to pay the bill.

Whoops, we forgot to figure this factor…..over 50% of American's pay no income tax at all.

OK, that doubles the figure…..but even that, $360,000 is not an impossible amount to repay the world.

Hold on a sec’……if you took out a 30 year loan to pay this debt……it would be a monthly payment of about $5,000.

OK, you say; you’ll get a part time job….or maybe two part time jobs. You can also have your children working, even the very young ones.
They might pitch and moan, but, a debt is a debt and after all, this is for their sake, their future.

If you and your family could live on beans and rice, walk or bicycle to your two or more jobs, and spend nothing on yourself…..you just somehow might survive if you didn’t have to pay federal, state, county and city taxes.

Rain, Turtles and the Pavement

Most of my work day I am a Rural Cowboy Redneck Truck Driver, and I enjoy it.

The let down each day is when I have to return to the metropolitan area and resume my God forsaken job of being an Urban Cowboy.

Now there is a classic oxymoron; urban cowboy.

Most people in the city who were educated in government schools could not tell you where the milk in their free lunch milk carton comes from. Give them a 50/50 chance of getting it right, by showing them a picture of a jackass and a cow, and half of them may get it right. Oh; but they are proficient at pulling condoms onto cucumbers, but they couldn’t tell you if a cucumber grows on trees, grows underground, hangs from vines or grows in bushes. The same freeloader/freelunchers would be bored in God’s garden of Eden. They can do rap, but they could never distinguish the difference between a starling’s squawk and a dove’s coo. In other words, they are;

urban idiots, completely dependent upon someone else’s skill at animal husbandry and horticulture to stay alive. They sit in classes listening to Marxist teachers ridicule farmers, truckdrivers and patriotic citizens.

It amuses me to see offices of the organizations like Peta, Wildlife Unlimited, Conservation groups , greenie and ecology businesses in a urban setting.

Shouldn’t their offices be in rural settings? I mean like they say they love the great out of doors and want to preserve it in pristine condition: but they; congregate in big cities , drive huge SUV's, use private jet's like Algore, eat juicy hamburgers when no one is watching and haven't a clue.

Today I want to expose some animal rights idiots that I had the displeasure of meeting last spring.

I was driving down a busy street about 2 blocks from my house when I saw cars, minivans and trucks slowing down and merging into one lane….and the reason was? A huge snapping turtle was sauntering (slowly) down the pavement as if he/she owned the pavement. Not one of the urban idiots, stopped to help the turtle, but I did. I put the 4 way flashers of my pickup on, stopped right there on the pavement and picked the turtle up (very carefully) and placed it gently in the bed of my truck. I didn't want it to get ran over. NOW WHAT I thought? This reptile is out of its safe environment, and can’t live very long out of the water. It had been raining a lot, so I figured it got lost and needed help. In my neighborhood there is a office of a wildlife rescue organization in a storefront in a little used shopping center. It was around 10 o’clock am, so I figured it would be open and willing to help this turtle get back to water. I quickly drove the few blocks to the wildlife rescue place and parked in the handicapped spot right in front of the office. I hurried in hoping to find someone willing to fill up a tub with water or something and help the turtle. The office was open but no one was in the front area, so I called out. Nothing, no one answered or showed up. Yet, I heard someone talking in the back room, but they ignored my pleas for attention. Five minutes later the person in charge hung up the phone and came to the front desk area.

I know it is unfair to paint with such a broad brush, but the lady? who was in charge of the wildlife rescue office that day, was uglier than the turtle in my pickup truck parked in the handicapped parking space in front of the leftist storefront.

What made her even uglier, was her attitude. Such snootiness, arrogance and elitism very seldom end up in one persons being, but she was a loser with ample portions of all those characteristics. She informed me that I had to drive to the nearest river and release the turtle, and that she couldn’t help at all. "After all" she snorted "You picked it up, you have to deal with it." She would not answer my one simple question....."But aren't you an animal rescue organization?" No answer, just a lot of stuttering and shuffling around behind the counter.

I left in a hurry, but couldn't help myself; I had to grab up a few handfuls of the handouts they had in the office. I saved a few to read for toilet comedy, but as I drove my friend the turtle to a city park with a huge pond, I tossed hundreds of the brochures and other propoganda of the marxist organiszation at intersections and crosswalks. My friend the turtle was upset in a patient way, but I got him/her to the city park and backed up near the pond and opened my trucks tailgate and carefully grabbed the turtle and carried it to the ponds shore. I imagine the typical leftist would have enjoyed making the turtle find the water itself, but I gently put the turtle down at the ponds edge. I took a few pictures of my new turtle friend, and I share two with you here.

Here is a picture of my friend the snapping turtle, and I hope it has a long life, and has the pleasure of biting the toes of a few liberal do-gooders if they take their smelly sandals off and wade in the pond’s shallow water.

Notice the moss on the turtles shell, and the crack in the shell that has healed over time. This turtle was hurt long ago, but somehow survived. It may have been beat with a baseball bat and tossed into a dumpster by a member of PETA. Hey, facts are facts, if PETA tortures and kills dogs people bring to them, they may have been responsible for the injury to this turtles shell.

Yes, the flag at half mast was a little too much, but I am torn betwixt two thoughts. Obama, the next president of the nation I love, may grow into the job. I may even hear him say the words someday in a convincingly plain manner, “I love America”.

I hope President elect Barack Hussein Obama loves the nation I love, I really and truly do. If he does, I’ll forgo any criticism of his decisions in his rookie year, or even years. No one can study at a University of Higher Learning a course…. “How to be a President of the United States of America 101!

There are only a few humans (all men) who are experienced at the job, and aren’t they a motley bunch?

They are, they ALL had faults, but the USofA survived.

Every ex-president alive today, is one who lived in the peoples White House while I was driving diesel truck. I respect all of them for doing a job no one but thugs and crooks would want to do. After all, does the president of the USofA make as much in salary in a year as the head honcho of the drug trade in Milwaukee?

I wish Barack Hussein Obama the best of times, may he grow into a president who has nothing in common with Bill Ayres, irreverent Rev Wright, and other marxist friends of his from his past. If he is but a puppet for the marxist George Soros, and starts acting as such, I will start writing about his unAmericanism. Until then, from the bottom of my emotional being, I wish Barack Hussein Obama only good. May he reciprocate.

Why am I a little hesitant? You ask?

One thing any thinking person will agree with me on is this; in his two year path to the Taxpayer’s White House, BHO criticized America over and over again. I want to hear Obama say something patriotic about America. We’ll just have to wait and see. The Last Words of the Debate were the best

SENATOR JOHN'S last words in the debate were probably more heartfelt, and HONEST than any of the thousands of words Barack Hussein Obama spoke in the whole of the debate. It was a great debate, one that could only happen in the nation I LOVE....it would never take place in Kenya.

Just before John McCain uttered these words, Senator Barack Hussein Obama had mentioned another one, from his long list of failures and mistakes of America.....

BHO has never talked about America without mentioning something bad America could be blamed for. He never once has referred to the billions of dollars we give for the feeding, healing and educating the world's loser's, like his DAD. He talks over and over about how 3% of the world uses 25% of the energy of the world. Excuse me, if America wasn't growing the corn, wheat and rice the lazy of this world needed, we would be using about 3% of the worlds energy. You ungrateful bastardly thinkers of the world, think about this. If America quits feeding the world, America won't need as much diesel fuel for the tractors, and other tools of agriculture, and we sure as hell don't need any thing from Africa. Good Speech Obama

Barack Hussein Obama is probably one of the greatest speakers of the English language alive today.

And he speaks the Queens Language, not ebonics. (NO STUPID SPELL CHECK, EBONICS SHOULD NOT BE CAPITALIZED, IT ISN'T A LANGUAGE, so it shouldn't be capitalized)

It was fitting that he gave this speech on the anniversary of one of the best speeches of all times, M.L.K's 'I have a dream' speech.

I wasn't in Washington D.C. when M.L.K gave that speech, but every time I see the video and hear the audio of the 'I have a dream' speech, I have a tingling from my shoulders up to my cranium, and consider that speech to be one of the greatest American speeches of all times, yes right up there with Lincoln's Gettysburg Address and George Washington's farewell address. I'm not a phony 'johnny come lately liberal', I was working behind the scenes for justice in those turbulent and often violent days of the 1960's, but I did have a chance to witness Correta Scott King speak at Kezar Stadium in San Fransicko, way back then, while her husband spoke elsewhere in the USofA.

No one wrote that 'I have a dream" speech for Martin Luther King, that was from his soul, and I wish I had been there to hear such greatness.

Senator Obama's speech writers are phenomenal at their trade.

But 40 years from now, Obama's acceptance speech in the Hollywood (GREEK?) set at mile high stadium will be no more than a footnote in the history book of the USofA.

Without telling us much about how he would do it, Barack told us he is going to solve all of our problems. No specifics and lots of fluff, and too much arrogance for me.

Here's a good one, Barack challenging McCain to debate? Barack has steadfastly refused to debate or do anything but read speeches someone writes for him. He is extremely fearful of town hall meetings, you know, ones like Bill Clinton mastered; because, without a speech writer, Barack is clueless.

He well might be our next president, but without a teleprompter he speaks like George W. Bush, and can't think on his feet. Overall? A good speech for the ones already on board the Obama Train to equal poverty and misery for all, but it did nothing for me, at all.

And by the way, he stated he will give tax cuts to 95% of us. That is impossible, 50% of American's of voting age, PAY NO FEDERAL TAX AT ALL, and a good percentage of those freeloaders, are given some of my tax money on tax day. Never paid a dime but get a check drawn from the taxpayers wallet. Barack can spin it forever, but I do my own taxes, make my own paycheck, and thanks to the much hated George W. tax cuts, I had about ten thousand dollars more in dollars that was not taken from me by the government in the last four years of the Bush administration.

So if the George W. tax cuts are not renewed, my family will pay more than ten thousand dollars more in the next four years than the last four years.

Nope, I'm not in the top 5%, but I'll still pay more in taxes, much more if Obama is sworn in as our next president.

I am sick and tired of hearing several words......tax breaks for the rich....the richest 5% of American taxpayers pay almost 40% of the taxes the fed's collect. If they decide to leave, close up factories and businesses, the whole amount of tax revenue left to the government would not even pay for 5% of our nations needs.

I don't hate, lie about or envy that 5% of America, I want that 5% to prosper, yes, prosper, so that they can do more good for this nation, and so my paychecks don't bounce.

How many Cuban taxpayers would it take to buy one F18a fighterjet?

I'll tell you, twenty time's more than all of the peons of Cuban socialism make in twenty years.

No, I am not in that richest 5% so why should I care? I'll tell you why, My boss is in that 5%, and if he is taxed more, he might close the doors on a business that is already taxed too much. The reason companies leave the USofA, is mostly due to over regulation and over taxation.

Oh, yes, Obama threw a dime to Union Workers....thanks. I have been a dues paying Teamster for over a quarter of a century, and the plans the Democrats have for my workplace, make me glad I'm on the last miles of my journey in the trucking industry.

Again, great opening ceremony China. I was driving truck when the opening ceremony was finally shown on USofA television, and NBC is hording the video’s of the ceremony, but I saw a few snippets of the ceremony, and can’t wait to see the whole of it. Of all networks to present a world event, NBC is without doubt the network to add it’s own hatred of the USofA into the mix. Thank God for the internet. Stick it NBC, where the sun doesn’t shine.

I have found a cause, a cause I care about, a cause I know something about and a cause I can do something about.

The cause you ask? Safety on USofA's roads.

Taxpayer paid for roads, expensive road, and safe roads.

Well our roads were safe thirty five years ago, but it is no longer true. People who see nothing wrong with crossing our nations borders ILLEGALLY, don't bother obeying any other of my countries laws, when they get here. Most states have laws that require insurance for all vehicles, and laws against driving drunk. Think the war in Iraq is expensive, and a bloodbath........? Our nations highways are more dangerous than the highways in Iraq. The government tries it best to hid the fact that people are being killed daily by illegal aliens....trespassers I call them. I will take up the cause of making our roads safer, someone else will have to deal with the child molesters, rapists and gangbangers that felt free to waltz into our nation, since no one locked the door.

I am an American Truck Driver who wants the roads our school buses travel upon to be safe. King George W. doesn't give a whiff about you or the children of yours on those school buses. I can’t say much about my cause, but it is a noble cause, and requires some backbone. Wish I could tell you more, I can’t.

I want the highways and byways of the USofA I love....to be SAFE.

My truck driving days are almost over; but my Eagle/Hawk eyes have noticed more and more Illegal Truck Drivers. Yes, you guessed it, unlicensed, unregulated, unwashed and UNSAFE TRUCK DRIVERS UPON THE ROADS YOU AND I DRIVE, A GIFT FROM MEXICO......THANKS TO KING GEORGE W. AND THE BOYS.

Of course the picture is overdramitization, but here is the point. Unsafe trucks are crossing our borders from the south, each and everyday. The drivers may not have slept for days, may be high on heroin or, have diabetes, high blood pressure, or any one of a thousand possibilities all of which bring you more trouble on the road.

See anything alarming in the above picture? A truck like this may be passing the bus your daughter is riding to school in, a truck from Mexico. King George has opened up our borders to anyone and anything. Oh, the question…..if you cannot see the tire about to blow…..I just hope you or someone you know is not killed by this jalopy from the south.

Isn’t this presidential race getting interesting? Here we are as conservatives, hoping a ‘born again Christian’ becomes our banner holder. And one from Hope, Arkansas too. Only one thing comes to my mind, I’m wanting a president of all American’s, not a preacher to all of America.

Come on now…let’s talk about the two most openly ‘born again Christian presidents of our nation’s recent history. Anyone over 50 years of age can tell you about Jimmy, the ‘born again Christian’ president. Our nation still suffers from the ungodly, atheist, liberal, socialist, perverts that Jimmie the peanutso man loved to appoint to the courts. He also has never met a homicidal leftist dictator, that he doesn’t love. Can you say, Jimmie loves Chavez?

If heaven is full of scumbags like Jimmie the peanut man…. it won’t be enjoyable to me.

Let’s consider another ‘born again Christian’ president, George Walker Bush. George’s compassionate conservatism has bankrupted our nation. Yes, he has appointed a few good judges, and is leading the fight against terrorism quite nicely, but his anti-UsofA immigration policies, have contributed to thousands of murders, rapes and drunk driving accidents, by PEOPLE WHO DON’T BELONG HERE IN MY COUNTRY.

Renewing the French-American Alliance

Madam Speaker, Mr. President, Ladies and Gentlemen of the United States Congress, Ladies and Gentlemen,

The state of our friendship and our alliance is strong.

Friendship, first and foremost, means being true to one's friends. Since the United States first appeared on the world scene, the loyalty between the French and American people has never failed. And far from being weakened by the vicissitudes of History, it has never ceased growing stronger.

Friends may have differences; they may have disagreements; they may have disputes, but in times of difficulty, in times of hardship, friends stand together, side by side; they support each other; and help one another.

In times of difficulty, in times of hardship, America and France have always stood side by side, supported one another, helped one another, fought for each other's freedom.

The United States and France remain true to the memory of their common history, true to the blood spilled by their children in common battles. But they are not true merely to the memory of what they accomplished together in the past. They remain true, first and foremost, to the same ideal, the same principles, the same values that have always united them.

The deliberations of your Congress are conducted under the double gaze of Washington and Lafayette. Lafayette, whose 250th birthday we are celebrating this year and who was the first foreign dignitary, in 1824, to address a joint session of Congress. What was it that brought these two men--so far apart in age and background--together, if not their faith in common values, the heritage of the Enlightenment, the same love for freedom and justice?

Upon first meeting Washington, Lafayette told him: "I have come here to learn, not to teach." It was this new spirit and youth of the Old World seeking out the wisdom of the New World that opened a new era for all of humanity.

From the very beginning, the American dream meant putting into practice the dreams of the Old World.

From the very beginning, the American dream meant proving to all mankind that freedom, justice, human rights and democracy were no utopia but were rather the most realistic policy there is and the most likely to improve the fate of each and every person.

America did not tell the millions of men and women who came from every country in the world and who--with their hands, their intelligence and their heart--built the greatest nation in the world: "Come, and everything will be given to you." She said: "Come, and the only limits to what you'll be able to achieve will be your own courage and your own talent." America embodies this extraordinary ability to grant each and every person a second chance.

Here, both the humblest and most illustrious citizens alike know that nothing is owed to them and that everything has to be earned. That's what constitutes the moral value of America. America did not teach men the idea of freedom; she taught them how to practice it. And she fought for this freedom whenever she felt it to be threatened somewhere in the world. It was by watching America grow that men and women understood that freedom was possible.

What made America great was her ability to transform her own dream into hope for all mankind.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The men and women of my generation heard their grandparents talk about how in 1917, America saved France at a time when it had reached the final limits of its strength, which it had exhausted in the most absurd and bloodiest of wars.

The men and women of my generation heard their parents talk about how in 1944, America returned to free Europe from the horrifying tyranny that threatened to enslave it.

Fathers took their sons to see the vast cemeteries where, under thousands of white crosses so far from home, thousands of young American soldiers lay who had fallen not to defend their own freedom but the freedom of all others, not to defend their own families, their own homeland, but to defend humanity as a whole.

Fathers took their sons to the beaches where the young men of America had so heroically landed. They read them the admirable letters of farewell that those 20-year-old soldiers had written to their families before the battle to tell them: "We don't consider ourselves heroes. We want this war to be over. But however much dread we may feel, you can count on us." Before they landed, Eisenhower told them: "The eyes of the world are upon you. The hopes and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere march with you."

And as they listened to their fathers, watched movies, read history books and the letters of soldiers who died on the beaches of Normandy and Provence, as they visited the cemeteries where the star-spangled banner flies, the children of my generation understood that these young Americans, 20 years old, were true heroes to whom they owed the fact that they were free people and not slaves. France will never forget the sacrifice of your children.

To those 20-year-old heroes who gave us everything, to the families of those who never returned, to the children who mourned fathers they barely got a chance to know, I want to express France's eternal gratitude.

On behalf of my generation, which did not experience war but knows how much it owes to their courage and their sacrifice; on behalf of our children, who must never forget; to all the veterans who are here today and, notably the seven I had the honor to decorate yesterday evening, one of whom, Senator Inouye, belongs to your Congress, I want to express the deep, sincere gratitude of the French people. I want to tell you that whenever an American soldier falls somewhere in the world, I think of what the American army did for France. I think of them and I am sad, as one is sad to lose a member of one's family.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The men and women of my generation remember the Marshall Plan that allowed their fathers to rebuild a devastated Europe. They remember the Cold War, during which America again stood as the bulwark of the Free World against the threat of new tyranny.

I remember the Berlin crisis and Kennedy who unhesitatingly risked engaging the United States in the most destructive of wars so that Europe could preserve the freedom for which the American people had already sacrificed so much. No one has the right to forget. Forgetting, for a person of my generation, would be tantamount to self-denial.

But my generation did not love America only because she had defended freedom. We also loved her because for us, she embodied what was most audacious about the human adventure; for us, she embodied the spirit of conquest. We loved America because for us, America was a new frontier that was continuously pushed back--a constantly renewed challenge to the inventiveness of the human spirit.

My generation shared all the American dreams. Our imaginations were fueled by the winning of the West and Hollywood. By Elvis Presley, Duke Ellington, Hemingway. By John Wayne, Charlton Heston, Marilyn Monroe, Rita Hayworth. And by Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins, fulfilling mankind's oldest dream.

What was so extraordinary for us was that through her literature, her cinema and her music, America always seemed to emerge from adversity even greater and stronger; that instead of causing America to doubt herself, such ordeals only strengthened her belief in her values.

What makes America strong is the strength of this ideal that is shared by all Americans and by all those who love her because they love freedom.

America's strength is not only a material strength, it is first and foremost a spiritual and moral strength. No one expressed this better than a black pastor who asked just one thing of America: that she be true to the ideal in whose name he--the grandson of a slave--felt so deeply American. His name was Martin Luther King. He made America a universal role model.

The world still remembers his words--words of love, dignity and justice. America heard those words and America changed. And the men and women who had doubted America because they no longer recognized her began loving her again.

Fundamentally, what are those who love America asking of her, if not to remain forever true to her founding values?

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Today as in the past, as we stand at the beginning of the 21st century, it is together that we must fight to defend and promote the values and ideals of freedom and democracy that men such as Washington and Lafayette invented together.

Together we must fight against terrorism. On September 11, 2001, all of France--petrified with horror--rallied to the side of the American people. The front-page headline of one of our major dailies read: "We are all American." And on that day, when you were mourning for so many dead, never had America appeared to us as so great, so dignified, so strong. The terrorists had thought they would weaken you. They made you greater. The entire world felt admiration for the courage of the American people. And from day one, France decided to participate shoulder to shoulder with you in the war in Afghanistan. Let me tell you solemnly today: France will remain engaged in Afghanistan as long as it takes, because what's at stake in that country is the future of our values and that of the Atlantic Alliance. For me, failure is not an option. Terrorism will not win because democracies are not weak, because we are not afraid of this barbarism. America can count on France.

Together we must fight against proliferation. Success in Libya and progress under way in North Korea shows that nuclear proliferation is not inevitable. Let me say it here before all of you: The prospect of an Iran armed with nuclear weapons is unacceptable. The Iranian people is a great people. It deserves better than the increased sanctions and growing isolation to which its leaders condemn it. Iran must be convinced to choose cooperation, dialogue and openness. No one must doubt our determination.

Together we must help the people of the Middle East find the path of peace and security. To the Israeli and Palestinian leaders I say this: Don't hesitate! Risk peace! And do it now! The status quo hides even greater dangers: that of delivering Palestinian society as a whole to the extremists that contest Israel's existence; that of playing into the hands of radical regimes that are exploiting the deadlock in the conflict to destabilize the region; that of fueling the propaganda of terrorists who want to set Islam against the West. France wants security for Israel and a State for the Palestinians.

Together we must help the Lebanese people affirm their independence, their sovereignty, their freedom, their democracy. What Lebanon needs today is a broad-based president elected according to the established schedule and in strict respect of the Constitution. France stands engaged alongside all the Lebanese. It will not accept attempts to subjugate the Lebanese people.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

America feels it has the vocation to inspire the world. Because she is the most powerful country in the world. Because, for more than two centuries, she has striven to uphold the ideals of democracy and freedom. But this stated responsibility comes with duties, the first of which is setting an example.

Those who love this nation which, more than any other, has demonstrated the virtues of free enterprise expect America to be the first to denounce the abuses and excesses of a financial capitalism that sets too great a store on speculation. They expect her to commit fully to the establishment of the necessary rules and safeguards. The America I love is the one that encourages entrepreneurs, not speculators.

Those who admire the nation that has built the world's greatest economy and has never ceased trying to persuade the world of the advantages of free trade expect her to be the first to promote fair exchange rates. The yuan is already everyone's problem. The dollar cannot remain solely the problem of others. If we're not careful, monetary disarray could morph into economic war. We would all be its victims.

Those who love the country of wide open spaces, national parks and nature reserves expect America to stand alongside Europe in leading the fight against global warming that threatens the destruction of our planet. I know that each day, in their cities and states, the American people are more aware of the stakes and determined to act. This essential fight for the future of humanity must be all of America's fight.

Those who have not forgotten that it was the United States that, at the end of the Second World War, raised hopes for a new world order are asking America to take the lead in the necessary reforms of the UN, the IMF, the World Bank and the G8. Our globalized world must be organized for the 21st century, not for the last century. The emerging countries we need for global equilibrium must be given their rightful place.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Allow me to express one last conviction: Trust Europe.

In this unstable, dangerous world, the United States of America needs a strong, determined Europe. With the simplified treaty I proposed to our partners, the European Union is about to emerge from 10 years of discussions on its institutions and 10 years of paralysis. Soon it will have a stable president and a more powerful High Representative for foreign and security policy, and it must now reactivate the construction of its military capacities.

The ambition I am proposing to our partners is based on a simple observation: There are more crises than there are capacities to face them. NATO cannot be everywhere. The EU must be able to act, as it did in the Balkans and in the Congo, and as it will tomorrow on the border of Sudan and Chad. For that the Europeans must step up their efforts.

My approach is purely pragmatic. Having learned from history, I want the Europeans, in the years to come, to have the means to shoulder a growing share of their defense. Who could blame the United States for ensuring its own security? No one. Who could blame me for wanting Europe to ensure more of its own security? No one. All of our Allies, beginning with the United States, with whom we most often share the same interests and the same adversaries, have a strategic interest in a Europe that can assert itself as a strong, credible security partner.

At the same time, I want to affirm my attachment to NATO. I say it here before this Congress: The more successful we are in the establishment of a European Defense, the more France will be resolved to resume its full role in NATO.

I would like France, a founding member of our Alliance and already one of its largest contributors, to assume its full role in the effort to renew NATO's instruments and means of action and, in this context, to allow its relations with the Alliance to evolve.

This is no time for theological quarrels but for pragmatic responses to make our security tools more effective and operational in the face of crises. The EU and NATO must march hand in hand.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I want to be your friend, your ally and your partner. But a friend who stands on his own two feet. An independent ally. A free partner.

A truckdriver talks about talk radio

Truck Drivers know Talk Radio,

and Dr. Michael Savage is on his way to the dustbin of talkradio.

There are some ugly things going on behind the scene of talk radio, and most of the ugliness is from the mouth of Michael Savage as he pimps his Savage Nation Talk Radio Program.

I’m a truck driver with about 3,000,000 miles behind the steering wheel. I drive a dedicated route, that means the same 400 miles each workday, YES, over and over and over the same roads, to make a living. Talk radio and country music are my friends, yes Talk radio and country music are two of the very few things that most truck drivers listen too….I don’t have time to tell you why. It has a lot to do with clarity….Country Music and Talk Radio can be heard and understood, while the 40 ton I command eats up the concrete and asphalt down the highways of America. I don’t want to have to decipher….I am too busy driving.

Plain talk/song and clarity of that talk/song……..the two most important things going on in my working hours as a truck driver.

So, you can assume correctly that I listen to a lot of talk radio, and know what I’m about to point out.

OK, I can’t sugarcoat this….Michael Savage is a lying hack. He constantly berates Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, Tony Snow, Ann Coulter and Glenn Beck. In fact, Dr. Savage berates all talk radio hosts. Oh, I forgot, he once had a kind word to say about Rusty Humphries .

From now on….If I wish to hear someone lying about and berating the friends I just mentioned, I’ll go to http://www.moveon.org. before the savage nation.

How do you find out where to get in touch with the untouched of other nations.?
I would love for the Turkish people and Turkish politicians to read this, but don't know where to send it. It is an apology for the way Nancy Pe and Harri Re treat an ally of America. They are pulling out all stops....they want us to lose the war against terror....because they hate George Walker Bush more than they love America. Fact....true....and shameful. I wish I could get this message to the people of Turkey.

I am almost as angry about what the House of Representatives of the United States of America, declared about ancient history, as my friends in Turkey. I have a love for the Turkish people, but apparently Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid want to besmirch the wonderful people of Turkey.

I buy lots of products from Turkey, and have not a bad word to say about the Nation of Turkey. In fact, I love from a distance the people of Turkey, and know they are hurt by the irresponsible behavior of a bunch of people who are good at hate, and nothing more. Here are a few excerpts from an old article I wrote about the Great Gulf States Hurricane of 2005. I refuse to refer to it as Katrina, because the suffering of New Orleans was but a small part of the devastation from that storm. If you say the word 'Katrina', most people think about the ugliness of the events in New Orleans, where the city, state and federal governments did what governments do best….waste taxpayers money and fail to solve the problem.

Tell me now, have the trillions (yes trillions of dollars extracted from the wallets of working Americans, enabled the Federal government to win the ‘war on poverty’? We’ve been fighting that war since ‘All the way with LBJ’, do you see any results?

Have the billions of dollars of taxpayers money spent on the ‘War on Drugs’ had any measure of success?

If we continue to pump money into New Orleans, Louisiana, and other sinkholes of taxpayer’s money, do you think it will do a moniker of good?

The Great Gulf State Hurricane of 2005

I know it was a painful, costly and ugly event, but it should have opened the eyes of everyone who cares about this wonderful nation of America.

Louisiana, and particularly New Orleans has been a liberal state and city, yes a liberal Democrat controlled state and city for decades and decades. What happened when the wards of the city and state needed help? The city and state governments did almost nothing to help the ones without automobiles to flee the wrath of the storm.

While hundreds of school buses were left fueled and parked in rising flood waters, the lazy bureaucrats of Louisiana headed for high ground, caring not a whiff about the poor citizens who were being traumatized.

Funny how no one blames the government of New Orleans, Louisiana, for any of the failures of that event. Why New Orleans even re-elected Mr. Chocolate City Nagin as Mayor.

Somehow the blame was shifted to 1600 Pennsylvania Street, Washington D.C.

Even while the mayor of ‘someday will be a chocolate city’, was fleeing to Baton Rouge, almost everyone was blaming George Bush for everything that happened before, during and after the storm. While everyone in the media was spewing out hatred for George W. Bush, the congressperson representing New Orleans was commandeering National Guard resources to visit his home to rescue bags of goodies from his home……you know the home where he kept his pilfered money in the freezer. Mr. Cold Cash Jefferson.

Did you hear much about his blatant thievery and corruption from the Maimed Street Media??????

Mentally Maimed, Mentally Drained and the laughingstock of real Americans. But then again, we don’t need ‘em…..and even if they pretend to be on America’s side……laugh at them, don’t watch them, email them and yes, even spit on them if you must walk near them. The Mean Spirited Media of America is not worthy of the freedom my ancestors fought and died for. They spit on our flag, our soldiers……our president…….I think is about time for us to do some spitting. I mean that, and don’t apologize.

Here are a few observations and conclusions of mine.

1. The only government agency, department or program that works when there is hard work to do is the Military complex; I consider police, firefighters and medical personnel to be a part of that complex when there is a disaster. But when there are no disasters, everyone but the military is doing substandard work. Must I take you as a passenger in my 18wheeler and even while paying attention to traffic, point out the waste and thievery of those designing, building or maintaining our roads? Sure we have good roads compared to Kenya, Africa. But we are not getting what we are forced to pay for. Taxes are taken from us to build roads…….but like that old Wendy’s commercial…..I must ask, ‘Where’s the roads’? Or how about this legal citizens of the USofA, ‘Where’s the fence?’

2. Our bloated bureaucracy has created massive agencies that cannot handle any problem of large magnitude, and does a pitiful job with the small problems. (Go watch your government in action at the motor vehicle department).

Don’t remain self deluded!

We as a nation are unprepared for a huge catastrophe.

Our government is broken.

It is so large, wasteful and dishonest,

that it cannot do a quality job for its citizens. It is taking a large percentage of our wages to maintain, and it is unable to provide quality, fair or timely service to the ones who pay the bills.

3. If it had been President Kerry in the White house when the hurricane struck, the same exact scenario would have occurred. Ray Nagin would still have not had a clue, or know where to get one. The governor of Louisiana would still have been a dunce with a fancy title and high paying job she is unqualified for. And John Kerry could not have directed the government response any better, because of the bloated bureaucracies of FEMA, and other agencies of government.

4. It is convenient to try to blame your political enemy for the failures of the whole system, but there is not a man or woman alive that could get quality work out of our Government Agencies. It won’t happen. It can’t happen. The largesse of the government has rendered it helpless in a crisis. (I am working on some suggestions on how to solve the problems I mention, but none of the solutions would be popular, since no solution will work until the government workers start working. Tenure is suicide to government. Unions should be illegal for ALL government worker including those in the government school buracracy, AND AT LEAST one third of the federal governments unproductive parasites should be fired, yes fired. This would be a good start, but I doubt we have the desire to correct the problems of our decaying government, so we must live with the results. After all, most of us know someone, or are related to someone that would be out of work, if government was run like a profit making business.)

And I want to end this article on a positive note.

The brightest moment in the whole gulf coast hurricane disaster, was when the military showed up in the city that Ray Nagin left when it needed him the most. The military was there within the hour……and worked day and night until the rescue job was done. To the loudmouth liberal…..I suggest one thing…..research the facts. Within minutes the military had helicopters hovering, ships and airplanes on the way, and the good citizens of America were volunteering by the thousands to help. The Salvation Army was on the road, good people were on their knees praying, and Ray Nagin was leaving town in his chauffeur driven limousine. There is no better illustration of the failure of Liberal Governments than when you compare New Orleans to Gulfport Mississippi. Liberals head away from the battle………….ANY BATTLE, think about it?

Should we as a nation turn over our military to Liberals? The cowards of democracy, the parasites of freedom and the roadblockers to success?

My liberalism cost me my job at a Ford Motor Co. assembly plant in the 1960’s. No I won’t talk about it now, but it happened. And to think, I would have retired with a generous retirement from Ford Motor Company about the time William Jefferson Clinton became president. Strange things happen to those who won’t compromise with their beliefs, when it would be beneficial to compromise. I could have kept that job, but I didn’t fight for it.

OH, that lesson was learned…..”if you won’t fight for the rights that God gave you, you don’t deserve any.

Today, September 24, 2007, my politically independent hat is off Professor Lee Bollinger of Columbia University. In the late 1960’s I spent many hours in the student lounge of Columbia University, lost a lot of chess games there, but I won a few, and I met many real liberals. Many of those real liberals of my memory are probably independent conservatives today….just like this old liberal hippy of yesterday.

Yes, Professor Bollinger, it was refreshing to witness an old school liberal standing up to a tyrant who rules a country where liberalism would be a death sentence……In Iran, no one dares speaks publicly, anything but the radical Islamic drivel of the mullah’s or sheiks. Can you say….EHCO party lines to EXIST?

How refreshing and comforting to know that there are still some real liberals left in academia in America…….where real academia was born and died a tragic death. No, I won’t talk more about the NEA.

But as demonstrated today, there are not many brain alive students at Columbia University, and it makes me wonder…….if you should offer all of the student body at Columbia University, free tuition, books and board and a generous living allowance, to attend the University of their choice in Iran…..how many of those brain dead students, would be willing to give up drugs, booze, sex and debauchery to go to a third rate university in one of the poorest oil rich nations on this planet????

Wow, another long sentence. Please don’t ask me to diagram that one.

No, Prof. Bollinger is not a progressive who was once a liberal! He showed America what a real liberal is, and put to shame the MoveOn.org wingnuts who think only progressives should be allowed to speak in public. Yes, many of the taxpayer tutored liberal of yesterday are even now being scorned by the fifth column activists of George Soros….who don’t believe in free speech….unless it is progressive speech.

Even in a dungeon smelling of feces and urine…..the smell would be overpowered by the stench of this now world leader. Maybe it is a planned thing, to catch his victims off guard….but to borrow the words of one of his cohorts in terror….chavexz of vensavalua, He never bathes, for he loves the violence that can be smelled on his body.

Blood soaked hands, through the pits of they will all tell you this madman is so mad…he doesn’t bathe…..look at him….even in his official Iranian pictures, and you will see a smirching face that probably smells like a mullah's behind. OK, now look at a picture of President Bill Clinton on his worst bad hair day……the comparison would be stark. A bad hair day in America is much better than a day in Iran, while Mockmood has any power.
